How Do You Spend Your đź§  Energy?

Did you know that you have finite mental energy each day? We all do. Meaning you can only think and do so much before your brain needs a break. 


One of the ways you can make the most of your mental energy each day is through Strategic Positive Habits. 


A habit is something you do without thinking, like brushing your teeth. The not having to think about it part is key 🔑.

I love the work of James Clear, author of Atomic Habits. Here’s his visual for what it takes to create a habit.

When you start out at Point A, your new habit will take a lot of effort. As you continue to repeat the habit at Point B it gets easier and more automatic but still requires conscious thinking and attention. Once you’ve repeated that sucker enough times, BAM — it just becomes automatic — you don’t have to think about it at all!
