It’s no secret that we are living in a time of disruption and rapid transformation. In The Age of Ideas, Alan asserts that our own unique, individual creativity is our last remaining sustainable competitive advantage — and that by unlocking our creative potential, we are on the path to personal fulfillment and professional achievement. His book could not come at a better time for many of us who are waking up to this new stage in the evolution of humanity and it was particularly striking to me as I continue to develop my perspective on how I view my son, what his place and purpose is in this world is, along with my own.

"Know in your heart that you will succeed, but accept that your path will be unclear and at times invisible."
